JN Bentley is looking for ready-made gangs to work on our construction sites.

JN Bentley is a well-established civil engineering and construction company, based across the UK. We deliver first-class works for our clients, drawing upon 50 years of expertise gained through experience in the industry.

The role and about you and the gang

Working predominantly on sites within the water industry, your gang will conduct general civil works as well as pipe laying and concreting.

Typically, your gang will have 3 or 4 members and include a Lead Hand, Skilled Operative, Semi-Skilled Operative and Labourer. One member of the gang will also be a machine driver.

Each using your individual skills, your gang will take ownership of its tasks and work together to complete them safely and effectively.

Previous experience in general civil works, pipe laying and concreting is essential, as is a positive attitude towards work along with the ability to maintain high standards of health and safety.

* CSCS card
* CPCS Plant cards (forward tipping dumper; ride-on roller; slinger signaller; 360)

Advantageous:

* National Water Hygiene
* Confined Spaces

Additional training will be provided if required.

Salary is negotiable dependent on experience.
