We have an opportunity for a student studying for MEng or BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering to gain valuable industry experience by joining our successful, fun and highly engaged multi-disciplinary team in Birmingham, B3 2HP (based out of our office on Edmund Street, when it is safe to return).

Your role at Hydrock will include:
* Contributing to scheme and concept designs
* Assist in the delivery of detailed design including full tender and construction packages
* Accompany senior members of staff to client, design and site meetings when required
* Liaison with statutory authorities, architects, the design team and contractors
What skills and attributes are we looking for?
* Currently studying for MEng or BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering
* Plans to be a Graduate Member of the IStructE and or ICE
* Some industry experience and/or able to demonstrate a keen interest in building structures design
* Strong communication, analysis, technical design and drawing skills
* Self-motivated team player with good people skills
* Some knowledge of BIM
* Basic AutoCAD and Revit skills desirable but not essential
