About the Role

The Transport and Infrastructure (T&I) Water team in WSP are seeking Water and Drainage Engineers to join our fast-growing team providing water services for WSP from our offices in the North West.

As part of the growing T&I national water team a typical week would include:

* Being an integral part providing support both locally within the North West and around the country

* Helping to deliver highway and rail projects both nationally and internationally

Our projects range in size from smaller local authority development to large scale national projects including those delivered by Highways England, Network Rail and HS2. We also lead the provision of airport drainage services within WSP working on schemes globally.

About You

The successful candidates should have technical expertise and experience in the design of surface and foul water drainage systems for public infrastructure projects. Including use of Micro Drainage design software; although the successful candidate will be supported by a network of experienced Engineers that will support further development.

The candidates should be working towards Chartered status with CIWEM or the ICE and have technical expertise and experience in one or more of the following areas:

* Surface water drainage design;

* Foul water drainage design;

* DMRB Volume 4 Section 2 and MCHW Series 500;

* Sewers for Adoptions 7th Edition;

* River engineering and scour assessment;

* AutoCAD, Civils 3D.
