Closing Date - 17/05/18

This role is focussed on the delivery of pressure and high vacuum systems for the seal integrity verification of high value, heavy-construction, steel pressure vessels. The role incumbent will be responsible for delivery of leak testing solutions (which includes equipment and processes) across three containment pressure vessel types for the TEUTATES programme.

Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, the Leak Test Equipment Lead Engineer will be part of a delivery-focussed project team, working with AWE and external stakeholders, to ensure the correct leak testing capability is delivered to schedule and cost.

The strategy for delivery of the leak testing capability is to generate a vessel leak testing philosophy and schedule in-house, before generating requirements and engaging the supply chain to deliver equipment and processes. The Leak Test Equipment Lead Engineer will be accountable to the Senior Engineering Manager for ensuring the supply chain delivers this capability.

Candidates must have outstanding technical skills in the area of pressure and vacuum systems, together with relevant experience of delivering equipment within a highly-regulated industry.
