WHAT TO EXPECT

Using state-of-the-art facilities, you’ll provide the power behind our vehicles working in our Powertrain Engineering team. You'll find the ideal balance between performance and sustainability, while responding to the environmental issues that shape our industry.

As Transmission Calibration Engineer you’ll be focused on the calibration development and delivery of automatic transmission and their integration into a wide range of vehicle platforms.

With the imperative of meeting CO2 emissions reduction targets, Hybrid and electric driveline technologies are key focus areas within the Powertrain department requiring versatile Engineers who are comfortable working in mechanical, electrical and systems environments to develop of automatic transmissions. These programs are full delivery programmes with the transmission development of several platforms.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

With a passion or the automotive industry and an engineering degree, you’ll demonstrate experience of automatic transmission software delivery, testing and engineering sign-off, and knowledge of Calibration Tools (including INCA or Canape).

In addition, you’ll have a good understanding of the interface and interactions between electrical and mechanical systems and possess the ability to solve engineering problems using a structured logical approach. Strong communication skills are essential, as is the ability to liaise with cross functional teams and suppliers.
