WHAT TO EXPECT
Using state-of-the-art facilities, you’ll provide the power behind our vehicles working in our Powertrain Engineering team. You'll find the ideal balance between performance and sustainability, while responding to the environmental issues that shape our industry.
The Transmissions and Driveline team are responsible for the design and release of key vehicle systems and components. The department is responsible for all aspects of the Transmissions and Driveline engineering delivery, ensuring that all Jaguar and Land Rover programmes are supported with the appropriate products, to successfully deliver the programme gateway requirements for strength, cost, weight and efficiency.
As Lead Engineer you’ll be responsible for the delivery of a component group on Land Rover and Jaguar programmes.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
With a passion or the automotive industry, you’ll be educated to degree level in an engineering discipline or equivalent with a strong understanding of Transmission and Driveline component delivery. Experience of PCDS, Microsoft project, Excel, Powerpoint, Word and AIMS is a must.
In addition, you’ll have proven leadership and management experience within a demanding engineering environment and have the ability to build strong relationships, interact and communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation. The ability to manage and resolve complex technical issues is essential whilst working to tight deadlines
