Position Overview

Procurement is one of the newest departments in Bucharest and is responsible for providing procurement services to Deutsche Bank units globally.

Third Party Management (TPM) is a global team within Global Procurement that delivers the process for identifying, assessing, mitigating and tracking risk associated with Deutsche Bank’s portfolio of Vendors.

The TPM Team in Bucharest is a team with global operational reach, providing first level support to the Bank’s TPM process and associated stakeholders. As the primary interface, the TPM Team performs Service Risk Assessment, Vendor Risk Assessment, and Service Delivery Management work in line with the Bank’s Policies to ensure that relevant outsourcing Risks are appropriately addressed.

The team is accountable for successfully engaging with internal stakeholders and vendors to collate appropriate evidence required for vendor risk management process.

Deutsche Bank is developing a new target-operating model to improve the Vendor Risk Management (VRM) process designed to assess risks associated with services provided by external and internal service providers.

Duties & Responsibilities:

* TPM Process Book of Work Delivery
* Responsible for delivering part of the MI Transformation ‘book of work’ across the Operational Sites, in partnership with supporting senior leadership in TPM.
* Ensures operational delivery against programme benefit targets and able to work independently
* Provides critical support to the Department leader in the issues & risks escalation network for all regionally assigned engagements
* Assist with establishing and embedding continuous improvement process excellence within the team
* Ensure a clear understanding and insight into current Quality, Cost and Delivery performance across Third Party Management

* Pipeline Development
* Lead fact-based process data analysis to identify process improvement opportunities
* Work with senior stakeholder to review the opportunities – leading to an agreed priority process pipeline (Book of work)

* Engagement & Coaching
* Provides direct engagement support (daily & weekly) to specific process engineering and Continuous Improvement initiatives across the team.
* Role models a change mindset and coaches operational Staff resources with the fundamentals of Process change
* Helps teams progress through the delivery project lifecycle in support of agreed scope & objectives

* TPM and Global Procurement Relationship Management
* Drives brand awareness & buy-in through-out Global Procurement for all relevant stakeholders as well as the extended community
* Coordinates with senior sponsors to develop and deliver on regional projects for Lean process deployment that touch Global Procurement supply chain

Experience / Requirements:

* Business Analysis

* Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
* Strong on Data and fact-based analysis to drive project scoping, root cause analysis, hard benefits, decision making
* Attention to detail & have ability to articulate key points emanating from team analysis and be able to defend these at internal management meetings
* Translate team findings into meaningful results working with stakeholders.

* Lean / Process Background

* Experience in process change and transformation.
* Lean/Six Sigma/Agile experience is preferred with knowledge of the principles to ensure application of the appropriate methodologies against pipeline opportunities.
* Knowledge of End to End process flow design is preferred.
* Experience of adding value through Agile/Lean & general re-engineering techniques to large scale projects is preferred.
* Confidence to reach out to different functions and leaders to obtain required information and manage stakeholder expectations.

Qualifications:

Proven process improvement experience across any industry along with knowledge of investment banking industry is preferred.
