Overview / Responsibilities

Wood are currently sourcing a Training & Competence Coordinator to join the Skills Pool Team on a 12 month maternity cover contract at Sir Ian Wood House, Aberdeen. The successful candidate will work as part of a wider team managing Wood’s technical resource pool and will support the business through delivery of a quality training management service.

Duties can be, but not limited to:

* Training Matrix compliance management, monitoring and reporting (incl. client specific reports)
* Training gap analysis
* Pre-employment compliance checks
* Deviation monitoring and management
* Participation in Site calls
* Attendance at internal and client meetings
* Site visit reports – handover and actions
* Cert expiry & renewal monitoring and escalation
* Maintenance of AIS Training & Competence Management Systems - training record audit and competence portfolios
* Manage and administer competence-related increments
* Commercial, payroll and accounts enquires – over payments, claw-back missing payments, invoices

Skills / Qualifications

* Previous Training & Competence experience, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry
* Intermediate or advanced knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel, Word and Outlook
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Attention to detail
* Ability to manage a high volume of work and prioritise
