Airbus, the world’s leading Aircraft manufacturer has exciting new job opportunities to join its Engineering teams at Filton, Bristol.
Core activities include the design, engineering and support for Airbus wings, fuel systems and landing gear Integration. We develop our people to work on systems, structures and aerodynamics research, development and test facilities.

An exciting opportunity has arisen in Airbus Filton, we have 2 openings for a Tolerancing specialist (KC&T). Within the Engineering function (Airframe organisation) the jobholder is responsible of the realisation of Tolerancing studies that allow the design principles, assembly process, datum definition and manufacturing capabilities validation.
Tasks & accountabilities
The results of these studies are the data input for realisation of the drawings: frontier/interchangeability, interface, assembly and elementary part. These activities, realised in relation with designer, manufacturing engineering and
Quality, are part of definition phase, development phase and serial production deliverables of all aircraft programmes.
They are required for the definition dossier and the assembly process plans.
The jobholder is also responsible to support the Control Plan MFT and the Integrator Assembly Specification definition.
This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.
As the successful candidate, you must be able to demonstrate the following:
o Educated to a degree in engineering
o Experience with Catia V5 - MECAmaster tool and KCnT Tool (Airbus tool)
o Advanced level of English
