Overview

We’re looking for a passionate and customer centric person who can to analyse new product requirements, the technical architectures which they will impact, and provide detailed, high quality, actionable solutions for the relevant development teams to work on. a natural flair for analytics and an inquisitive nature to learn you will principally working on the Hive app and platform, with the opportunity to get involved with other products in the wider British Gas and Centrica portfolio.

Covid-19 made us to pack up our belonging and work from home, what we have been able to demonstrate is how possible it really is to do amazing work from home, working flexibly has benefitted many colleagues and so when our offices re open hopefully later this year, we will continue to offer flexible working arrangements.

Package: We offer a competitive base salary, plus annual bonus, 25 days holiday, pension and private healthcare to all employees

Location: London with flexible working options (we are currently working from home)

What will you be doing?

* Work with product and technical teams to understand relevant roadmaps and required delivery timeframes, identifying any gaps in technical capability as early as possible
* Be able to justify solutions in terms of cost-effectiveness, making efficient use of Centrica funds and avoiding waste
* Help to estimate new products and features for the purposes of resource planning
* Writing clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria
* Maintaining good contact with development teams, clarifying any ambiguities during the development lifecycle, helping to identify and prioritize bugs as they arise
* Helping UX Design team to understand technical constraints and produce designs that will translate into workable solutions
* Helping product owners to prioritize and manage their backlogs, ensuring that stories are relevant, at the right level of detail, and ready for development in good time
* Create documents, presentations, diagrams, and other materials as needed to clarify requirements and explain solutions to stakeholders
* Assist with customer trials and rollout of new and updated products and features
* Understand and use customer data and analytics to identify areas for product improvement

Work Experience

* Good understanding and experience working with Agile Scrum and Kanban methodologies
* Use short, medium and long-term planning tools as appropriate to keep track of requirements (e.g. Jira, Azure DevOps, StoriesOnBoard)
* Solid experience as a Technical BA in an Agile development environment
* Experience working with cloud APIs and microservices (preferably AWS or Azure Cloud)
* Hands-on experience and good knowledge of Atlassian JIRA and Confluence, or similar agile workflow management tools
* Knowledge of mobile application development cycle and delivery to app store process
* Experience in IoT domain is a plus, as is working with a range of mobile and app
* Desirable - experience in dealing with subscription and account management, e-commerce and payment solutions
* Desirable - Experience of business process modelling and structured modelling languages such as UML.

Certifications

Any technical or domain related certificates are a plus.
