Thales UK has a fantastic opportunity for an individual join to join our world renowned Avionics Team as System Engineering Manager, operating within our Training & Simulation capability (TTS). The opportunity will see the individual undertake a dynamic and incremental role, responsible for the execution and management of all aspects of the system engineering associated with a number of both bids and projects within the TTS domain.

The role will require liaison with key stakeholders, creation of requirements to meet customer needs, and will include systems engineering activities: defining the project and WBS, requirements management, planning and scheduling and reporting, managing small teams throughout the lifecycle, and delivering the solution.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

* Create SOW and Work Pacakage
* Ensure solution compliancy with agreed Statement of Works (SoW)
* Plan, schedule and report suite of work packages to deliver solution
* Ensure systems engineering process is followed throughout life-cycle
* Ensure specified deliverables are met against schedule and timescale and are of an expected level of quality.
* Requirements management
* Management of reviews
* Strong customer focus
* Fault closure coordination

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

* Previous design, development or delivery role
* Real time architectures
* Design life-cycles
* Requirements Management
* Team management
* Degree in Engineering, Science or Mathematics

In line with Thales' Baseline Security requirements, candidates will be asked to provide evidence of identity, eligibility to work in the UK and employment and/or education history for up to three years.
