What You’ll Do

As a Leader of Systems Engineering and Architecture you will be responsible for driving the UK’s Enterprise business vision, strategy and execution. This is a senior, customer facing role that focuses on supporting our Pre-Sales Engineering and Architecture teams with some of the United Kingdom’s largest, most complex and most well-known Enterprise customers covering verticals such as finance, manufacturing, transport and pharmaceuticals. You will have direct responsibility for leading and developing a team of high functioning, technical specialists covering all aspects of Cisco software and hardware solutions. You will partner closely to Sales Account Management and Leadership to drive success for Cisco and its partners.

This leader should bring innovative ways to drive business and be able to quickly build relationships and a network of resources that will benefit the business.

Who You Are

You are motivated and results oriented with a background in IT Sales Engineering and Management. You are not expected to be an expert in every Cisco technology but should have a broad understanding of Cisco Products and Solutions and strong knowledge of the IT Market in general. The best candidate will understand how to approach customers in this market to drive understanding and preference to Cisco's solutions. You are also expected to have the ability to run and manage a diverse team of technical specialists.

As many of the UK Enterprise Customers also have global presence there will be travel required. We will greatly promote the appropriate use of TelePresence and Webex to allow the virtualisation of all resources on this team.

* Minimum 5+ years’ of management experience required.
* Demonstrates the characteristics of a leader.
* Fluency in English language. Fluency in one or more languages is an advntage
* Ability to present topics in a clear and concise manner to many levels of business leaders and audience sizes.
* Understanding of software sales motions.
