An
exciting opportunity has arisen within our Process Automation (PA) business
unit for a system engineer to join our Delivery team, operating as part of the
North Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa Hub (NESSA) team

The
expectation that this Graduate Entry Level will be exposed to a variety of
learning units which cover the essential skills required for working in an
engineering environment such as:

* Design and
specification of hardware/software/electrical/electronic and system
requirements, including preparation of drawings.

* Liaison with
CAD design and Production areas to provide engineering support for design
and manufacture of hardware.

* Configuration
and testing of Schneider Electric & 3rd party software.

* Participation
in structured factory testing of systems.

* Minor
installation of systems.

* Commissioning
of hardware and software systems.

* Preparation
and presentation of training courses.

* Preparation
of system documentation, including functional specifications and manuals.

* Provide
technical support to the Sales and Customer Services area and directly to
customers.

* A High level
of energy and passion, a tolerance for travel and extra work hours as
needed

* A Flexible
attitude and excellent organizational skills with the ability to plan and
execute a variety of tasks on a timely basis and as the situation requires

* Excellent
time management skills with the ability to prioritize and allocate
resources to ensure achievement of project objectives

* Ability to
think in a strategic manner, always putting customer in the centre of what
we do.

* Uncompromising
integrity with the highest degree of accountability internally to the
Company and externally to the customer

You will be educated Degree level
in Engineering (or similar/ related subjects),
ideally with practical or theoretical knowledge in SCADA, telemetry, computer
networking, IT, software engineering, electronics, low voltage electrical
design, digital communications or industrial control systems.

More
importantly, you will demonstrate a desire to learn, possess excellent
communication, organisation and team working skills and a passion for
engineering solutions. This role will be based mainly at our Coventry offices,
although there may be some travel to customer sites, or one of our other
Process Automation offices (in Crawley or Warrington).

Qualifications

You will be educated Degree level
