WHAT TO EXPECT

The purpose of this role is to develop and deliver features and functions within Driver Information Systems software platforms. Operating in a cross-functional organisation, the systems engineer will report to the lead engineer to develop and deliver system level requirements on driver information commodities such as instrument clusters and head up displays.
The role requires the individual to develop solutions to system requirements, and in work with our supplier partners to then develop and deliver software solutions to meet these requirements, completing validation and delivering into production vehicles.
You’ll be measured on your ability to deliver high quality, aligned, system solutions on time, on cost and on quality. You’ll be responsible for developing solutions to system requirements for implementation in driver information components. You’ll also be expected to perform component and system level testing, investigate and resolve defects and deliver solution to production environment.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
You’ll have previous experience of leading the resolution of business, technical and process issues within a Project Team environment. You must be capable of creating System process flows, and system requirements, based on customer requirements and features.
Experience in a lead systems engineering role, with proven track record of creating complex system interactions across multiple commodities is essential. The ability to write functional requirements, alongside excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong influencing and engagement skills is essential.
