A fantastic career opportunity has arisen for a creative and driven professional to join our Sustainability Group.

As a Sustainability technician you will support the project leads dealing with applicable Environmental Assessment Methods (EAM) to meet delivery targets. Based in Plymouth you will work with four teams located across the UK; North West (Leeds, Manchester and Birmingham), Oxbridge (Oxford and Cambridge) London and South West (Bristol, Cardiff and Plymouth). What You’ll Be Doing

Supporting the consultants and project leads across a range of EAM including BREEAM, HQM and WELL Building Standard.

- Communicate the assessment criteria in tailored reports to the project team.

- Undertake pre-assessments to determine the scores and ratings that can be achieved for each assessment.

- Review evidence provided in relation to BREEAM assessments by project teams and provide written feedback in a timely manner.

- Use online assessment tracking to receive evidence and provide assessment updates

- Organise and file evidence received by email accurately.

- From time to time, participate in BREEAM workshops and project team meetings

- Help to develop procedures and templates to respond to strategy

What We Are Looking For


- Excellent computer literacy.

- You will have good communication skills and an enthusiasm for working within a team environment.

- High attention to detail in both assessment of evidence and production of trackers, reports, etc.

- The ability to present EAM technical guidance in a clear and concise manner that can be easily understood by other disciplines.

- A genuine interest in developing a career within the sector, with fresh ideas, confidence and an entrepreneurial, creative spirit.

- You will need to be enthusiastic, passionate and driven; have a flexible approach to work, be a strong team player and undertake tasks independently.

- Good eye for detail, confident and able to build strong working relationships at all levels.

- Basic understanding of BREEAM and its principles.
