As a Supply Chain Coordinator for Rolls-Royce in Birmingham you will be wholly responsible for a defined portfolio of products, parts and components within a defined organisational unit. You will drive on time delivery through effective planning whilst maintaining ERP and supporting systems. You will also identify, prioritise, mitigate and resolve delivery issues within the supply chain that may impact the customer.

Key Accountabilities:

* Buy parts for production facilities, manage inventory and delivery or purchasing of parts
* Effectively manage and monitor supplier performance
* Ensure the ERP system is maintained with robust & credible data that creates suitable supply elements
* Work with the Heads of Planning and schedulers to ensure that robust answers are given to any Sales and Operation Planning questions
* Have an appreciation of typical structures of a supply chain and where applicable associated Bills Of Materials
* Be actively engaged in the ERP compliance processes thereby ensuring robustness of plans by maintaining high integrity data

Education level


* Educated to degree level or relevant professional qualification (e.g.APICS) or equivalent based on proven experience
* Understanding and experience of managing load / capacity is desirable
* Demonstrated ability to manage deliveries and make balanced business decisions under challenging ambiguous circumstances and able to take responsibility for their own development
* Experience of production planning and associated control processes
* Working knowledge of and experience with MRP and/or ERP systems and MS Office or equivalent working skills
* Understanding of different roles / functions / processes (e.g. Manufacturing, Purchase, NPI, Quality, etc
