Supervisor Switches & Crossings

As Supervisor you will plan and deliver track renewals and associated works and ensure that the work is planned and delivered safely and to time and budget.

Key Objectives

*

Take charge of construction activity (including Track Renewals Core worksites as directed) and deliver the planned work safely and on time, adhering to the requirements defined in the COLAS Site Management Procedure.

*

Manage a team and monitor / drive the performance of staff reporting to the supervisor in terms of delivery to time, quality specification, budget and manage manner.

*

Carry out the role of Site Manager in charge of a construction site as directed.

*

Risk assess site conditions and work activities; and plan or initiate suitable control measures.

*

Assist with the delivery of the team's performance using the Company's Competency Management Framework and Performance and Development process to identify development needs.

*

Undertake the supervision of work sites during the mid-week and weekend as required.

Qualifications and experience required

*

Proven experience in managing high output, plain line and/or S&C construction sites.

*

Ability to lead and motivate people.

*

Ability to to manage resources.

*

Experienced Engineering Supervisor.

*

Good Communication Skills.
