Job Description Summary

Join our fast-growing Analytics Lab within our growing Software Engineering team.

We now have opportunities for talented Planning Analytics Software Engineers, experienced in Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (Hyperion) and IBM Cognos TM1.

You’ll help us design and build, complex scalable technology solutions in Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (Hyperion) and IBM Cognos TM1/IBM Planning Analytics using best in class libraries and design principles.

Working together with Group and Divisional Finance and Finance Business Services (FBS) teams, you’ll perform application (EPM (Hyperion) and TM1/Planning Analytics) installation and configuration on Windows/Linux server infrastructure and in some cases utilising Containerisation.

Our Labs work in an Agile environment, so we’re looking for those with a technical curiosity & maturity, to ensure software is built and configured in a way that is consistent with required practices, policies, strategy, tools, coding standards and quality controls.

Ideally, you’ll be an Engineer who is familiar with & embraces DevOps initiatives that will deliver faster outcomes to our customers.

You’ll also be excited to be at the forefront of emerging technology and how it can benefit Lloyds Banking Group.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities

•Design and build of EPM (Hyperion) and TM1 solution frameworks, following best practices

•Own and drive ongoing delivery improvement plans

•Make positive change and embrace DevOps initiatives to deliver outcomes to our customers faster.

•Build effective relationships with our stakeholders, customers and delivery partners to improve the overall service provided while managing delivery objectives ensuring the end products meet our customer needs.

•Mentor and develop more junior colleagues, creating opportunities for their learning and growth

We would like to hear from you, if you have strong engineering knowledge of or experience in:

•Modelling, Reporting and Control applications, specifically Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (Hyperion) and IBM Cognos TM1/Planning Analytics.

•Installations and infrastructure requirements with PL/SQL, Windows DOS and Linux Shell/Bash as supporting skills.

It would be great if you also had experience of or working in:

•Procedural / Product / Specialist Knowledge of Finance applications

•Knowledge of agile development practices and DevOps principles

•Experience with build processes and release automation through DevOps tooling e.g. Jenkins, GIT, Urban Code

•Experience with Containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) deployments

•Strong understanding and application of SDLC and Change, Problem, Incident and Service Introduction processes

•Product and general technical leadership and direction for junior team members & Partners
