How you will make a difference
Successful candidates will be asked to support the team in Scrum/Agile development on existing and new software technologies and supporting the pursuit of new business.
The ideal candidate:
Has experience of designing, developing and testing innovative software solutions.
Has experience of full stack development with specific skills in Java, React and/or Continuous Integration.
Will be keen to learn a broad range of front-end, back-end and CI technologies.
Experience in design, development, test and integration of quality software.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and associated tools such as Confluence, Jira and Git.
Experience of working in a software delivery team.
Experience with object oriented design and design patterns.
Knowledge of database technologies; such as RDMS and NoSQL.
UX design experience.
Spring frameworks: Boot, Data, Cloud etc.
Go language (with Go-kit).
Big data / Hadoop framework technologies.
RESTful architecture implementation.
Microservices design and implementation.
Experience working with a DevOps and CI/ CD pipelines.
Experience of UK Government working practices.
