We're hiring a Software Engineer to join NatWest Markets in London

What you'll do
You'll be part of a team responsible for developing the functionality of the strategic Global FX Cash Technology platform, covering our Spot FX, FX Forwards and NDFs businesses. The platform's functionality includes trade capture and blotters, position and risk management, and trade lifecycle management.
Your primary focus will be on developing the user interface in WPF, but you can expect to have full stack exposure, including C# service tier and SQL server database.
You'll be working closely with business analysts and directly with end users – including Traders, Transaction Management & Operations and Front Office Support – to understand requirements, as well as with developers in London, India and Singapore.
The skills you'll need
We're looking for someone with strong experience of C#.NET development, and good recent experience of WPF development. Experience of agile development and working across globally distributed teams would be preferred, as would understanding of simple FX trading instruments, such spots and swaps. Front office experience, an understanding of front to back investment banking processes, experience of enterprise architecture and design, and enterprise messaging and automated testing would also be valuable. SQL server experience would be an advantage.
We'll also expect:
* Experience using user interface frameworks in high performance applications, and using real-time APIs
* Experience in coding with design patterns
* The ability to perform under pressure in a fast changing environment
* Excellent analytical and communication skills
* A strong team player
