We are looking for an experienced Team Leader who will be expected to provide management and direction to the Security Operations Centre (SOC).

Reporting into the Lead SDM and Project Technical Lead, the SOC Team Leader ensures that there is sufficient cover of the appropriate skill mix across the service period and provides direction to the SOC Agents as necessary you will also provide reports as necessary to the wider Service Management Team.

The role will have team management responsibilities of the SOC Agents.

Your experience

* People Management: Manages, motivates and develops a small team of technical specialists, ensuring that the service levels are met.

* Customer Relations: Establishes relationships with customers and a range of managers across Fujitsu.

* Risk Management: Establishes and manages risk for the team’s technical skill levels and adequate resources to ensure that risks are mitigated and problems resolved, in relation to meeting our commitments.

* Planning & Control: Resource allocation/scheduling to meet the demands of delivering a service, taking into account changing priorities or issues. Uses strengths of team to achieve effective and efficient delivery of service within Service Level Agreement. (SLA)

* Service Delivery: Using strengths of team to achieve effective and efficient delivery of service. Ensure the delivery of services to meet SLAs as a minimum.

* Several years demonstrable security experience within a MOD environment.

* Demonstrable experience of conducting technical system audits e.g. using Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tooling or other elevated access privileges.

* Detailed understanding and experience of delivering security in accordance with JSP440 and other HMG regulations e.g. IS4 and IS5.

* Sound and detailed knowledge of IT, Operational, Personnel security procedures and policies.

* Good knowledge of legislation affecting security matters and their application.
