Role purpose:
To deliver the Group Networks Virtual Foundation & OSS infrastructure in accordance with the strategy and the goals of the domain.
Accountable and responsible for the deployment of NFV/SDN solutions.
Perform the onboarding of Network functions into customer virtualized environment
Particular technology focus on NVI & OSS infrastructure (hypervisor, computing, storage, Network - physical or virtual), remote access solutions, cloud, security and backup solutions.
Working with the On Boarding team to automated delivery and integrations.

Strong individual applied thinking.
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
University degree in engineering or similar
Professional experience in engineering
Strong focus on delivery
knowledge of data centre infrastructure, cloud, virtualization architectures and operational processes
Scripting expertise is preferred (Power CLI, Powershell, Python, …)
Process creation and execution
Cloud computing architecture and design (IT and Telco)
