Support the development of the single largest flood risk management programme in the country, reducing flood risk to London and the Thames Estuary for the next 10 years, and have a hand in transforming tomorrow.
As a Site Supervisor on the TEAM 2100 programme, you will have the chance to impact the infrastructure to refurbish and replace tidal flood defences in London and the Thames estuary. Working with other members of our team, you’ll be acting as our technical advisor on construction sites supervising the works of the contractors and subcontractors, providing the link between the design team and site team. During your time with us, you will also have the opportunity to work checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations; communicating with clients, including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress and supervising the setting out, levelling and surveying of the site. The minimum qualifications for this position are:
Have as a minimum a BEng in Civil Engineering
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
Demonstrable technical expertise and knowledge of river and coastal engineering and flood risk management would be preferable
Demonstrable knowledge of construction delivery in a marine environment would be preferable
