We are looking for an enthusiastic Service Engineer and Data Analytics Student to join our team specialising in Service Engineering and Data Analytics for our EngineBusiness Unit in Darlington Engine Plant/ your remote home officeDuring your placement withus, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the toolsand exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry andpower your potential!

In this role,you will make an impact in the following ways:

Service Engineering:

* Uses prescribed and innovative methods and works withlimited guidance.

* Collaborates with the Customer and End user for field investigation and data gathering.

* Develops and validates technical work instructions and technical document publication

* Data Analytics: *

* Develop and maintain Power BIdashboards to analyse Big Data.

* Liaise with key stakeholders toensure flow of relevant data into the department and create impactfulpresentations to summarise key findings.

* Complete ad hoc data analysisrequests submitted via the departmental ticket system

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

* Technical Documentation - basic knowledge in Technical Documentation ofengine operationand repair.

* Structured problem-solving process - able to understand andapply structured problem-solving processes to resolve issues.

* Experience with MS Excel includingPivot Tables (essential)

* Experience with Power BI (desired)
