is an exciting opportunity in Daventry for a Service Engineer

Your impact will be seenin these and other ways:


Acting as technical liaison between the Cummins field service
organization and the Engineering, Quality, & Manufacturing organizations


Identifying service issues & initiate problem


Manages with support failure analyses with Field Service,
Warranty, and Engineering to communicate and define issues.


Partnering with distributors and customers to support the
investigation of escalated product issues


Supporting product development teams and problem solving teams via
the installation of field test engines or components and the monitoring and
reporting of reliability data.


Participating during reviews to ensure the serviceability of new
components and products including the monitoring of new product performance.


Skillsand Experience Required:


7 Step Product Problem Solving Process


The ability to resolve product problems in the field


Excellent communication skills - Written And Verbal


Awareness of the basic processes and needs for a field


Knowledge of hazard analysis and its relevance.

RequiredEducation, Licenses or Certifications

* College, university orequivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering
