What’s your role in Society?

We are currently looking for a talented and motivated Senior Public Health Engineer to join our Building Services team in Maidenhead.

What does the role involve?

You will be working within a team environment managing and mentoring a small team of technicians to develop and deliver practical design solutions for exciting, challenging and prestigious projects. You will be responsible for leading packages of public health design work working closely with multi-disciplinary project teams to produce coherent and coordinated information.

You will be responsible for managing the production of high quality Revit and AutoCAD work, recognising the importance of delivery timescales, complying with project and client protocols as well as maintaining internal company systems.

You will also be expected to keep abreast of emerging technologies and making practical recommendations for their implementation where appropriate

To be successful in this role you’ll possess:

* Previous experience of the preparation of public health designs to British Standards, including developing schematics and layout drawings, supporting engineering calculations.
* An excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit.
* Experience of confidently managing production of design information in both 2D and 3D environments.
* The ability to communicate in a fluent and positive manner with other team members and to produce reports in plain English,
* A degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline is desirable.
* Membership of or working towards qualification with an appropriate professional body would be advantageous.
