Overview / Responsibilities
Wood is currently recruiting for a Decommissioning Engineer with experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry.
Primary responsibility will be to draft a suite of Decommissioning Plan on behalf of our client to submit to the Regulatory Authority. But additionally will be required to Coordinate of all specific dicipline input for the DP's.
Manage the delivery including cost and schedule of allocated projects.
Clients primary focal point for allocated projects from kick off to close out
Responsible for the safe delivery of projects to budget and schedule
Ensure good communication between disciplines
Maintain effective dialogue with other project engineers, Delivery Team leader, Engineering manager.
Manage project changes effectively
Ensure an effective risk management process is adopted
Provide HSE leadership within sphere of influence
Skills / Qualifications
Ideally Candidates will be:
* Degree Qualified
* Minimum 5 years Project Engineering Experience perferably with decommissioning experience
* HND / HNC in relevant Engineering discipline
Practiced in project control mechanisms and with commercial and technical risk assessments
