The Role & Skills
You will play key role in delivering on our Battey Energy Storage Systems ambitions while providing project engineering, leadership and oversight for BESS projects in development and construction. You will contribute to building a compelling vision for delivering Engineering Excellence in the CTO and the BESS portfolio, demonstrating an ability to lead and add value to opportunities in a highly competitive and changing marketplace. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with the BESS and PV Solar lead to ensure technical support and guidance to BESS projects in delivery of EDF ambitions.
You will deliver Project Engineering activities for assigned BESS and other Renewables projects (i.e. Solar) whilst contributing to governance, oversight and support activities for BESS projects.
Our Engineering team would benefit from an experienced Senior Engineer successful in delivering projects/programmes, establishing/managing relationships, securing and maintaining a safe environment, managing priorities, and inspiring and influencing behaviours and actions. We fully support our Zero Harm safety culture and as such require commitment to safety, health, environment and quality. You will need a minimum of an engineering degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent and chartered membership of an appropriate body would be an advantage.
