We’re looking for someone who has experience in procurement of survey, design and engineering services. The role will suit someone who is a natural leader with an entrepreneurial spirit. The person will also enjoy working in teams comprising people from different countries and diverse backgrounds. The role reports to the Head of Procurement & Supply Chain and has line management responsibility for another member of staff. This role can be based in any of AECOM's locations across the UK.

Key responsibilities of the role:

*

Develop category management plans based on a detailed knowledge of demand, supply and market analysis across multiple countries

*

Deliver sourcing strategies to meet business requirements including drafting tenders, evaluating offers, negotiation, contract drafting and implementation

*

Manage contracts including the use of key performance indicators and escalation of performance issues where necessary

*

Implement supplier relationship management with strategic suppliers to deliver greater value

*

Review end to end processes to improve management of supplier base, channel management, contract management, enable and improve purchase order compliance and adoption, workflow and approvals, payment processes and data and analytics

*

Utilise procurement technology to improve efficiency and achieve high levels of compliance to the procurement policy and processes, for example, through the implementation of the no PO no pay policy and the use of catalogues

*

Where necessary, support key work winning activities, providing procurement expertise to the bid teams

*

Develop change and project management plans to support new ways of working

*

Support the development and capability of the Procurement and Supply Chain team by demonstrating high standard of delivery and sharing best practice

Minimum Requirements

CIPS qualified

Relevant degree, for example, in business, engineering or science
