As a Senior/Principal Highways Drainage Engineer, you'll be part of a team who are responsible for the delivery of technical outputs of projects to meet the client’s brief. This will involve undertaking services within a water consultancy engineering environment which may include (but not limited to);leading a design team, working with offshore or remote resources, all aspects of pipeline design to national and local/other standards where applicable, from identification of problems and issues and development of viable solutions at all stages, including programme and budget management, outline and detailed drainage design, quantities take-off, specifications and drawing production. Specifically, we are looking for a highly competent and experienced design lead to support the program manager in the preparation and timely delivery of outline and detailed water industry and Highway design schemes.

A typical week would include:

Delivery of both clean and WW design projects for UK water company's and familiarity with DMRB and Sewers For Adoption guidance documents would be an advantage. Experience with delivery of Highway Drainage schemes is particularly sought also. About You

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

* A degree in a relevant discipline, you will be a chartered member (or equivalent) of a relevant professional institution.

* Extensive knowledge and experience in drainage design you'll be able to check the technical outputs of the team prior to issue for authorisation.

* You will have knowledge and experience of the main management systems & processes used within WSP or a similar consultancy business and will be able to carry out technical compliance checks for project team outputs.

* Computer literacy ,you will be able to work without supervision and will have the drive and determination to meet targets.
