The role
Working as a Senior/Principal Analog Design Engineer as a part of our Audio team based in Edinburgh, you will be responsible for:
• Design of CMOS Audio circuits meeting performance, area, power and timescale constraints, while also acting as technical project lead
• Documents work in accordance with standard company development procedures
• Lab evaluation and support for circuit blocks/whole ICs
• Support DFT strategy and implementation
• Top level simulation and verification planning and implementation
• Support test development and ramp to production
• Manage/guide circuit/block layout
• Mentor junior engineers
What we are looking for
Essential -
• Significant recent hands-on experience in analog full custom design
• Detailed layout judgment and supervision capabilities
• Detail knowledge of circuit topologies and process characteristics
• Good communication/customer skills
• Experience with Verilog-AMS for verification
• Experience of audio circuits or low power CMOS is highly desirable
