Job Summary

Are you an ambitious engineer currently working at Engineer/ Senior Engineer level looking to work on building projects that can change the world, projects that are always more complex and innovative than the last project?

If so, we are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team to work on projects within the commercial / fit-out team out team You will be joining a team of like-minded experts that have a passion for innovation and delivering cutting edge solutions.

AECOM plays a critical role in the conceptualisation and creation of amazing spaces, delivering projects and buildings that define skylines and communities. AECOM Buildings & Places is made up of dedicated teams delivering projects in Commercial, Residential, Hospitality, Sports Venues, Work Places, Education, Government and Healthcare.

We are friendly, busy and motivated with an established track record of successfully delivering local and overseas projects. Some of our flagship work in recent years include;

Palace of Westminster, Southbank Place, Arctic Science centres, The Bank of England, BBC Broadcasting house, The Titanic building in Belfast and the St Pancras Chambers Hotel in London to name but a few.

About Our Team: The Commercial Fit-out team has many large blue-chip clients. The projects are mainly base in the UK with an increasing amount in EMEA. We are friendly hard-working team with an increasing workload with a view to growing another 30% in the next year. There many opportunities available to progress your career.

We are looking for a team player that can manage projects from concept to completion.

You will have a strong design background with project management skills and experience of working within multi-disciplined teams.

You will be an enthusiastic, passionate and motivated with a ‘can do’ attitude and the willingness to learn and improve yourself and the ability to take ownership and responsibility for your actions.

Minimum Requirements

Work experience within a similar consultancy or other relevant business

*

A strong Design background.

*

AutoCAD and REVITT experience

*

Familiar with mechanical design software packages

*

The ability to manage and mentor young engineers

Preferred Qualifications

Relevant degree or professional qualification
