Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Instrument Engineer for a 5 month Fixed term staff contract based in Aberdeen.

Performing engineering support on Shell projects to ensure Shell Safety and technical requirements are being met. Interpret Shell requirements and if the intent is being met by engineering contractor / project.

Project portofolio - largely brownfield / single discipline / multi discipline
Provide Technical support and oversight on less experienced engineers
Brownfield Project Engineering design experience essential.
Capable of potentially being progresses to a Technical Authority.
Review of CVs and interview of candidates would be required.

Skills / Qualifications

Experience of Cyber security would be adventageous.
FS Eng - TUV required.

Additional Skills / Knowledge that would be beneficial
Previous Experience of Shell TA structure and ways of working in Shell Projects.
Familairity with Shell DEP structure / standards.
Experience of Cyber security.
Operations / maintenance experience.

Professional Instrument Engineer. (CEng / IEng - or significant experience).
