Position Title Senior Information Management Consultant

AECOM Digital Project Delivery (DPD) team are seeking an experienced Common Data Environment (CDE) systems consultant to support the Information Management function in high profile projects. DPD team work to embed our leading edge approach to data management for clients, optimise the performance and reliability of their asset portfolio and digitise their asset management strategy. The team also works to improve the capability and capacity of our delivery teams implementing digital processes across EMIA to meet these requirements.
Working alongside other highly experienced colleagues and technology specialists you will have excellent knowledge of how typical infrastructure projects need to manage and deliver information to our high profile Clients. In addition to organisational strategic support you will have worked in a project delivery team for a number years and will therefore understand how typical projects work and the importance of information quality and compliance with respect to an Employer’s Information Requirements (EIR) specification.
You will have knowledge and hands on experience of the information management requirements of our major Clients and in-depth knowledge of BS1192 and PAS1192. Experience in the administration and use of Bentley Systems’ ProjectWise software throughout multiple project phases is essential and knowledge or experience in other CDE systems throughout Design, Construct and Operate is highly desirable. You will be comfortable managing, administering and configuring the most common features of the technology suite in order to deliver a CDE that would meet the needs of the given EIR.
Support Project Information Managers and Project Management teams at any project stage as required with knowledge and advice in the setup and use of CDE systems.
Mobilise New Projects.
Provide information management CDE support and advice to project stakeholders, promoting better information management.
Develop new ProjectWise templates that meet the needs of an Employers Information Management Requirements.
Develop skills in the use of other CDE systems when the opportunity arises and enlist support from other CDE system experts as required to support the business
Develop documentation and content that help to support those responsible for the system and project stakeholders.
Develop training materials that promote better information management and promotes adoption.
Willing to travel within the Europe, Middle East, India and Africa business.
Relationship management: Able to develop rapport with others.
Essential Knowledge & Experience:
Experience of using ProjectWise Administrator for configuration and application support of projects. Using ProjectWise Administrator/ProjectWise Explorer to configure datasource security, workflows, folder structure, projects, and to manage users and groups.
Highly experienced user of the ProjectWise Client Software.
Highly experienced in the use of ProjectWise Administrator.
Experienced with Microsoft Excel and some of its advanced functions.
Experience in major Civil Infrastructure projects.
Experienced in the development of the ProjectWise Workflow Rules Engine and BS1192 Business Processes.
Experience of SQL within a ProjectWise context.
Experience supporting application ProjectWise integration for MicroStation, AutoCAD, AecoSIM, Revit, InRoads, OpenRoads, InRail & Civil 3D.
Proven ability to write clear, concise documentation.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated and proven ability to work unsupervised to deliver requirements.
Working knowledge of other software from Microsoft, Trimble and ESRI.
You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be highly approachable and confident. You will be able to lead meetings (internal and external), capturing project information requirements and translating these into delivery of a CDE. You will have a proven ability to write and deliver clear and concise technical system and user training content.
Working as an effective 3rd/4th line support adviser you will be able to handle pressure situations with a cool head. You will have a logical and systematic approach to solving problems (including people, process and technology). You will communicate effectively and know when to reach out to other IT and Technology colleagues for advice and input. Importantly you will have the determination to see issues through to a successful resolution ensuring our project teams are able to collaborate, manage project data and deliver projects successfully.
You will have experience of primary design technologies from Bentley and Autodesk (such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, AecoSIM, Revit, InRoads, OpenRoads, InRail & Civil 3D). This will be in the context of understanding the CDE role and configurations in supporting workflows and procedures to exchange design information between these platforms. Working knowledge in the use of some of these systems to produce design will also be desirable. You will also need to be a competent Microsoft Excel user and have a solid knowledge of SQL in a ProjectWise context.
Knowledge or experience of other technologies from vendors such Microsoft, Trimble and ESRI is also desirable.
Desirable Knowledge & Experience:
Experience with ProjectWise PowerShell.
Experience or knowledge of some other CDE systems e.g. Aconex, Proliance, BIM360, information exchange workflows between them and design software application integrations.
Knowledge of ProjectWise CONNECT capabilities.
Working knowledge of CAD management and some design software such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, AecoSIM, Revit, InRoads, OpenRoads, InRail & Civil 3D.
* Third level qualification, more technical experience, e.g. HNC, HND, BTEC, other.
