As a Senior Engineer/Project Manager, you'll deliver projects through various stages of the design process from feasibility to planning/detailed design and onto construction.

The candidate will be required to prepare designs and specifications under the supervision of experienced senior staff.

A typical week would include:

* Preparation of outline and detail of waste water projects in accordance with client specifications

* Drawing preparation for issue to CAD team

* Provide project support to senior staff to help them deliver to programmes and budgets

* Management of work packages with scope to move up to managing smaller schemes

* Client liaison as necessary to deliver the schemes/projects

* Production of technical reports as required

* Strengthening our wider Civil Engineering offering to regulatory water company clients

The key attributes we look for are the ability to solve problems, build constructive relationships and a desire to continually improve. About You

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

The successful candidate will be degree qualified in civil engineering and be working towards professional accreditation with a recognised engineering institution.

Your role will involve supporting and training more junior staff within the team and taking ownership of projects. You will be reporting to a Principal and will be expected to be able to work under your own initiative.

Specific attributes

* Experience in the design of sewerage networks, including pumping station and rising main design and / or waste water treatment works.

* Degree qualified in Civil Engineering

* A minimum of five years’ similar experience within a consultancy or water company based environment

* A relevant professional qualification

* Good written and verbal communication skills

* Experience of working to UK standards

* Proficient in use of MS Office software

* Full, clean driver’s license preferable
