We have an opportunity for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join our AERO team based in Yeovil. Your purpose will be to design and develop compliant electronic circuitry and units for aerospace applications, document and validate equipment to a level suitable for release into production and to support in-service production issues.

Snr. Electronics Design Engineer responsibilities

* Support all facets of the hardware design lifecycle from concept to production
* Design, develop and certify electronic controllers for aerospace applications
* Document the design and validation of equipment
* Interface to global customers, both internal and external
* Participate in design peer reviews and lead overseas support teams

Qualifications

* HND or higher in an electrical/electronic design related subject
* Understanding of analogue electronic design
* Extensive experience within an electronic design capacity
* Understanding and experience of strict certification and process requirements
* Advantageous if you have worked to DO-160 & DO-254 previously
* Previous experience within Aerospace/Defense is preferred
