Wood is currently recruiting for a Control System (PES) Engineer with extensive experience in the Nuclear industry.

The Engineer will provide a full lifecycle design service to various site Control Systems Groups undertaking PES modifications within several areas of the site. The candidate will be part of a group that deals with urgent plant related issues, supports System Engineering with design support and handles emergent maintenance delivery issues.
Skills / Qualifications
1. Degree in relevant engineering discipline with at least 2 years PES design delivery experience OR other qualification such as BTEC, HNC, HND, with 5-8 years PES design delivery experience.
2. Experience of PES management and modification processes.
3. Experience of DCS, PLC and SCADA systems
4. An understanding of interactions between the PES and the plant hardware and higher level plant requirements defined in Engineering Flow Diagrams and Sequence and Interlock Definition Documents.
5. Experience in the production, modification and review of User Requirement Specifications.
6. Experience in production and review of PES modification Impact Assessments.
7. Experience in the production and review of PES Validation Test Specifications.
8. An understanding of SL Safety Case requirements.
