As a Senior Consultant within our Transport Modelling team, you’ll have the chance to take the lead in the management and technical delivery of transport modelling projects for our strategic clients in the Midlands and the rest of the United Kingdom. Working with other members of the team, you’ll contribute to and lead projects for our strategic clients (i.e. local authorities; Highways England and the Department for Transport) and support our global teams, which in turn will enable you to develop and build upon your already acquired set of diverse skills and experience. During your time with us, you will provide technical modelling expertise to internal team members and clients, whilst working closely with other senior team members to further develop your own technical modelling skills and training and mentoring junior team members. The minimum qualifications for this position are:
A Bachelor’s of Science degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline
* Transport modelling experience
* Knowledge of concepts, principles and theories of broad transport planning, transport modelling, and scheme appraisal
* Knowledge of data analytical tools such as MS Excel, MS Access, VBA, SQL
* Experience with industry standard strategic transport modeling tools (SATURN, EMME, CUBE, VISUM)
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
* A Master’s of Science degree “MSc”
