The Revenue Growth team specifically focusses on the Consumer Goods market.

We are looking for candidates at all levels of experience with an interest in Revenue Growth Management to join us, working in fast-paced teams with other highly talented, fun and motivated colleagues.

As part of the delivery team, you will focus on the implementation of large-scale analytics projects and work with exceptional advisory and product teams who are developing groundbreaking Revenue Growth Management propositions.

Your role

You will be responsible for the provision and set up of data platform technologies that are on-premises and in the cloud. You will manage and secure the flow of structured and unstructured data from multiple different data sources. The data platforms that you will use can include relational databases, non-relational databases, data streams, and file stores. You will also ensure that the data services involved in the programme will be sustainable, secure and seamlessly integrate across a variety of data services. We are specifically looking for candidates with both technical and business focused skills, who can articulate the outcomes and value of their work, and have fundamental experience across some of the following:

• Building an enterprise data solution to cater to a clients’ and projects’ storage needs, to enable batch and streaming data ingestion, transformation and analytics.

• Building a data product roadmap, planning the delivery of features and user stories in a series of Agile sprints or other agile delivery methods

• Assisting in the further development of market leading analytics and information management offerings and help produce proposal documents to showcase our capabilities to current and future clients.

• Manage and secure the flow of structured and unstructured data from multiple sources, which may include relational databases, non-relational databases, data streams, and file stores.

• Effective in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution.

• Design and develop scalable ETL processes to ingest client data into a common data model to be used across the product.

• Leading the development of a cloud-based platform on Azure to integrate applications, and get real-time insight from the movement of data between the technology components

• Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.

• Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.

• Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Support in optimising data models, which are typically served from a modern data warehouse or data lake.

Your professional experience

We are looking for candidates of all experience levels who are able to demonstrate skills and experience in some of the following areas.

Essential:

• Must have at least one of the following

o Azure Developer Associate certification

o Azure Data Engineer Associate certification

• Extensive experience in SQL and Python or R.

• Experience to bring teams together as a workstream lead to drive success through applying coaching, facilitation, stakeholder management and expectation management capabilities

• Implementation of Big Data technologies, such as involvement in Enterprise Data Lake or Real Time Data Warehouse creation.

• Development of solutions in both on premise and cloud environments using leading cloud vendors such as Azure (Azure Preferred)

• Data Governance: Focuses on establishing organizational constituencies and a framework of policies, processes, and enabling technologies to ensure that enterprise data is owned and stewarded accurately and consistently to meet business goals;

• Database development and maintenance using tools such as Hadoop, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, etc.;

• Data migration design and build including migration strategy and approach, source & target system analysis and mapping, ETL development and data reconciliation.

Desired:

• Similar certification to an Azure data engineer.

• Ability to use cutting edge technologies such as Spark, Snowflake and Kafka;

• Ability to demonstrate stakeholder management skills and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

• Understanding of ETL processes for scalable solutions.
