As a member of the UK team, you will support local and international projects across the transportation and energy sectors, including railways, highways, metros, marine, wind, hydro, and more.

You will be joined by hundreds of skilled experts, collaborating over the entire lifecycle of a project – from idea, concept and design, to operation and maintenance within our portfolio of tunnels & underground structures, bridges, complex structures, ground engineering and reclamation projects.

REALISE YOUR POTENTIAL WITHIN A TEAM OF EXPERTS

In this position, you will join our global team of experts and work closely with the Principal Engineer. Your role in our team will be to provide technical leadership to projects.

On a day to day basis, you will:

* Assist in the development of conceptual design, produce engineering designs and details in accordance with project requirements

* Develop and implement design best practices in areas of expertise ensuring conformance with all applicable codes, standards, and client requirements

* Be responsible for Project Management

* Perform and review calculations for analysis

* Mentor and develop less experienced team members to allow them to achieve their full potential

* Be a Chartered Structural or Civil Engineer (C.Eng) and be experienced in the Contractors Responsible Engineer (CRE) role

* Have experience of designing all types of structures in the rail sector in the UK

* Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

* Possess strong analytical ability and a solid understanding of engineering fundamentals and current design standards

* Be able to communicate / liaise effectively and professionally with the design team, clients and contractors

* Have the ability to provide technical leadership with the ability to coach, lead, manage and develop a team
