As a Senior Civil Engineer (Water) on our C2V+ joint venture team with VolkerStevin, you’ll have the chance to help United Utilities provide class-leading service to their customers as part of their AMP6 capital investment programme. Working with other members of the team in our role as Construction Delivery Partner (CDP), you’ll assist with the overall coordination and production of multi-disciplinary designs from tender to completion of construction. During your time with us, you will be involved in the refurbishment of treatment works, pipework, layout development, pumping stations and outfalls, as well as gain experience in tender design and detailed design under a design and build environment. The minimum qualifications for this position are:
A Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Civil Engineering or similar relevant subject
Chartered with a recognised professional body, such as the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) or the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM)
Significant knowledge of the UK water industry
Comprehensive technical construction knowledge
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and its implementation
Client-focused to help build long term relationships
Proven ability of coordination and delivery to deadline and evidence of problem resolution in the process
