What you’ll be doing

The world is rapidly adopting new technology to enhance the mobile computing and gaming experience, to accelerate data centre processing and even deliver fully autonomous vehicles. Imagination Technologies graphics processors, artificial intelligence accelerators and network technologies are used by leading OEMs and semiconductor vendors, shipping over 5 billion units to date. We are living through a period of massive disruption and Imagination is investing to ensure we play a central role in the future.

To accelerate adoption of the Imagination current and future product lines, we are looking for a business development manager with a keen interest in commercial success. Working closely with our sales teams, product group and wider business teams you will develop and drive focused programs for stimulating business growth and building stronger pipeline opportunities. You will be curious to understand OEM and customer problems, build trusted relationships and establish value to our solutions. Your market awareness and creative approach will allow you to draw on the broader team to drive commercial engagements, delivering on the short-term and long-term goals of the business.

You will

* Plan and coordinate focused programs for pipeline and revenue growth

* Translate customer requirements into a sales strategy offering the best customer-focussed solution.

* Identify the competitive position including strengths and weaknesses of PowerVR versus the competition.

* Work with the product marketing team to plan and execute product promotions, events, tradeshows and seminars.

* Capture ideas and suggestions for future product development.

* Be a key driver for engaging customers and sales with the PowerVR product line-up and participate in customer meetings, sales meetings, events, and training.

You have;

* Experience in a similar strategic development role, delivering measurable results and revenue growth

* Solid technical knowledge of the semiconductor or software industries

* An understanding of hardware or software IP licensing

You might also have;

* Knowledge of CPU, GPU, or artificial intelligence processors

* Background in following industries: Data centre systems, Mobile handsets, CPU and MCU ecosystems

* Ability to schedule own workload and plan tasks

* Willingness to be flexible and accept new challenges

* Comfortable with the requirement to travel
