Description

Become part of the next wave of cloud solutions by joining the Oracle ISV Sales team. You will be working with leading ISV solution providers provide them with the best cloud infrastructure to help our partners architect, deploy and scale their commercial applications on Oracle cloud (OCI). Your ability in using Oracle’s value proposition for ISV’s; whether its increased market share, time to market, improved functionality or cost reduction will determine your success.

What You’ll Do

* Your primary goal is to develop a team that consistently growing revenue stream for Oracle Cloud (IaaS) and related services to a defined set of Named ISV Partner Accounts.

* Overall responsibility for the regions sales, third party alliances, and customer happiness.

* Leads and develops a team of sales representatives including recruiting, hiring, and training new reps on the Oracle sales process.

* Sells and promotes the sales of Oracle products to customers including negotiating price, other concessions and terms and conditions of the sale.

* Participates in strategic and tactical planning for the division.

* Builds working relationships with license, consulting and education field managers in the respective territory to develop joint account plans.

* Develops and execute a territory plan to improve revenue.

* Generates and achieves monthly territory forecasts, and accurately predicts revenue on a monthly basis.

* Conducts weekly progress meetings with sales team.

* Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives.

* Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met.

* Your background in leading teams in selling multi-tiered cloud (IaaS, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure - OCI) deals into traditional and non-traditional ISVs will be key to your success in this role.

* Proven track record in developing relationships with C-level decision-makers and influencers including experience in closing large technology and service deals

* Demonstrated leadership skills.

* Effective written and verbal communication skills, ability to present to large and small audiences.

* Ability to negotiate price, other concessions and terms and conditions.

* Strong quantitative, analytical and conflict resolution abilities.

* Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in critical situations.

* 5 or more years sales or sales management experience within technology industry.

* Proven business and technical acuity/analytical skills including pipeline/forecast management

* Ability to effectively understand and articulate customer business strategies and key drivers

* Ability to hire and train new sales representatives.

* Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle's competitors.

* Travel may be needed.

Conducts weekly progress meetings with sales team.

Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations important. 5 or more years sales or sales management experience within technology industry. Ability to hire and train new sales representatives. Ability to resolve customer satisfaction issues. Demonstrated leadership skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills, ability to present to large and small audiences. Ability to negotiate price, other concessions and terms and conditions. Strong quantitative, analytical and conflict resolution abilities.

Colorado Pay Range: From $149,628 to $269,335 per annum

Eligible for commission, equity and compensation deferral
