Job Summary

Are you a Project Surveyor looking to work on building projects that can change the world, projects that are always more complex and innovative than the last?

If so, we are looking for an experienced Project Surveyor to join our team in Exeter. You will be joining a team of like-minded experts that have a passion for innovation and delivering cutting edge solutions.

AECOM Buildings & Places is made up of dedicated teams delivering projects in Commercial, Residential, Hospitality, Sports Venues, Work Places, Education, Government and Healthcare.

About Our Team:

The Exeter team are friendly, busy and motivated with an established track record of successfully delivering local projects. We are currently a team of 22 professional Cost & Project Managers delivering construction solutions for our diverse client base, providing a broad range of services when working alongside our design teams.

We are currently delivering some of the most high-profile construction projects in the area for clients such as University of Exeter, Plymouth City Council, MOD, University of Plymouth, & Babcock to name just a few.

We strongly promote personal and career development with clear career structures and development programmes. We look to balance this with a flexible approach to working through our “Freedom to Grow” programme.

Job Responsibilities:

You will need to be from a consultancy or client organisation with the ability to;

*

Lead Cost Management commissions, taking responsibility for their successful delivery.

*

Ensures commissions are managed and completed efficiently, on time and to the client’s satisfaction.

*

Develops strong reciprocal relationships with clients and members of the project team.

Minimum Requirements

*

Ideally you will live locally to the office or be willing to relocate

*

Work experience within a similar consultancy or other relevant business

*

A clear work history and proof of professional development and learning

*

Proven experience in a consulting environment providing CM services including Pre-Contract Estimating; Procurement; Contract Administration, Cost Reporting and Final Account resolution.

Preferred Qualifications

*

Degree Qualified – in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management.

*

Professionally Qualified – ideally Chartered Quantity Surveying Status with the RICS or working toward chartership
