Quality Bid Expert
We are exploring the market for a Quality Bid Expert too be based at our Maple cross office.
The individual will provide expertise that enables bid teams across the business to achieve maximum evaluation marks on all quality submissions by developing, implementing and facilitating new, improved processes and strategic tools in a consistent way across the business.
Work with fellow submissions team members and bid teams to achieve maximum scores on quality submissions:
Define, implement and facilitate a best-practice quality content process (together with relevant members of the submissions team) with consistent ‘building blocks’ that can be assembled to suit individual bids, including:
clear definition and communication of the response development process, scoring guidelines, ’storyboarding’ sessions (analysis / deconstruction of questions / answer planning sessions), and review sessions at all relevant stages
feeding into and communicating a clearly articulated win strategies and provision of clear response strategies
creation of model responses to demonstrate what good looks like, how we ‘tick all the boxes’ and outperform our competitors
identification and preparation of suitable bid contributors with sufficient availability ahead of the bid period
clear communication of roles and responsibilities to achieve maximum scores on individual bids
Develop and deliver strategic training and improve our current training to target max scores by focusing on discriminators/win themes
Work with the senior editor to ensure our evidence gathering (case studies/CV material etc) demonstrates customer value, taking into account future pipeline requirements (through liaison with SD/BD/Ops)
Actively take every opportunity to implement continuous improvement through lessons learnt, feedback from customers and benchmarking against competitors
Were looking for
Excellent track record of achieving maximum quality scores on PQQs and quality bids
Experience working on bids to the public sector – preferably in the civil engineering / construction sector for road, rail, defense and healthcare projects
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to successfully motivate, lead, influence and contribute across OUs
In-depth understanding of the bid process, roles and responsibilities, and expected outcomes at different stages
Experience evaluating bids from client-side is a huge advantage
Understanding of different procurement and commercial models, risk and opportunity, and pricing
