We are looking for an enthusiastic Purchasing Placement Student to join our team specializing in Purchasing for our Corporate Segment in Huddersfield. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Contribute to Technical Procurement for various R&D Projects

Procuring prototype hardware

Take an active role in the design for manufacturing activities and production costings

Preparing and presenting project updates to business

Involvement in Functional Excellence – develop common processes, tools & resources

Engagement with other functions, including Supplier Quality, Commodity, Manufacturing and Engineering.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

Working towards relevant Engineering degree

Communication and ability to work independently as well as part of team

Positive attitude, strong personal motivation

Strong IT user skills
