About the role

We’re on the lookout for a Proposition Marketing Manager (PMM) to join our team here at Virgin Media Business (VMB). This is an exciting opportunity to develop new proposition innovations by building pipelines to support the delivery of VMB’s Revenue and goals throughout the year. The PMM will define and build the marketing proposition drawing out the differential value statements that we take to market. You will be analysing external market data, outputs from the strategy team and from Win/Loss voice of customer insights to identify gaps, risk and opportunities against our current offering and market positioning.

This would be an ideal opportunity for someone looking for a development step into the world of propositions, who already has foundation marketing experience in a tech or telco background.

This will be a collaborative role, working across various verticals within the business - from sales teams to marketing sector leads, from enterprise and public sector professionals to product, pricing and marketing delivery teams.

The must haves:

* Experience in customer needs-based proposition development with proven examples of developed new concepts and innovations to support commercial growth.
* Extensive experience working in a Marketing Propositions role, ideally in a tech environment.
* Ability to showcase effective interpersonal skills and capability of articulating recommendations clearly, handling objections, and switching between big picture thinking and detailed requirements.

Other stuff we're looking for:

* Demonstrable story telling skills with the ability to take ambiguous ideas and communicate them in a manner that is understood by the audience.
* Proven success working within a sophisticated matrix of sales and other functional partners.
* Excellent time management, organisational skills and ability to present confidently to a variety of audiences.
