Introduction:

Boeing Defence UK (BDUK) requires an Integrated Planning and Scheduling (IP&S) Specialist to provide planning and scheduling support to Campaigns, Bids and Programme Execution The ideal candidate will already be familiar with a wide range of planning and scheduling tools, including MS Project and OpenPlan or other industry recognised systems. This role is based at our Bristol office.

The role:

The successful candidate will be expected to:

* Deliver Planning & Scheduling to BDUK Programmes aligned to the Boeing Programme Management best practice to ensure successful programme start up and execution throughout the programme lifecycle
* Develop Programme planning strategies and approach plans, maintain Master Assumption Lists and develop Programme Deliverables and Responsibility Matrix Workbooks (DRW) (incl. WBS/OBS/RAM)
* Develop Schedule Ground Rules & Assumptions (SGR&A), High Level Flows, Proposal Summary Schedules, Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedules, ensuring key internal / external customers and supplier schedules are integrated
* Undertake Supplier schedule assessments, IMS multi-functional IMS deep dives, Schedule Risk Management (RIO & SRA), Scenario Plan and schedule Change Management
* Establish and maintain Schedule baselines, maintain schedule forecast, undertake schedule analysis including Critical and Driving path
* Identify and support the management of Programme schedule risks, issues and opportunities
* Report Programme schedule status and performance metrics to programme leadership team
* Identify and implement IP&S process, quality and productivity improvements
* Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in planning and scheduling
* Communicate effectively with ability to listen, assimilate, evaluate and summarise

Required Qualifications:

Experience in a similar role, preferably within a MOD defence contract

Desired Qualifications:

Project Management certification desirable

Work Authorisation: This requisition is for a locally hired position in the UK. Candidates must have current legal authorisation to work immediately in the United Kingdom. Boeing will not attempt to obtain Immigration and labour sponsorship for any applicants. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.

Visa Status and Relocation: This requisition is for a locally hired position in the UK. Relocation benefits are not available. Successful candidates must have existing / ability to obtain legal authorisation to work in the UK for continued employment.
