Project Manager (Street Lighting) - (170000SS)

To Project Manage, lead and be fully
accountable for the Northumberland LED Street Lighting project.
You will be responsible for maintaining
and enforcing safety, environmental and quality standards as required by
statute and Galliford Try’s safety policies and to work to the Galliford Try
Infrastructure Mission, Vision and Values.
You will be responsible for ensuring that
the project is completed in a safe, effective economic and profitable manner
complying with the Company Procedures and the client’s requirements.
Ensure the company’s health, safety & sustainability standards are applied
on the project.
Ensure that the principles of CDM are applied on the project
Foster collaborative working relationships with the Client, Supply Chain and
Maintain the culture whereby everyone is continually seeking to satisfy
Administer the NEC contract with the client and Supply Chain to ensure project
Implement strict financial controls on subcontractors, suppliers and
Work with the commercial team to maintain the Cost Plan to give accurate
financial forecasts and control.
Ensure systems are in place in order that quality of work is to the prescribed
Plan, co-ordinate, maintain and develop staff and operative levels to undertake
Plan, control and monitor progress of the works to ensure completion on time
Monitor and record performances encouraging and disciplinary as and when necessary.
Experience and Qualifications:
Civil Engineering or Construction Related Degree preferred; HNC as minimum
Professionally Qualified or working towards this
Wide experience from within the Construction Industry
Willingness and ability to travel throughout the UK
