Role Summary:
Manage the First Article Inspection process. The role will be responsible for managing quality and production related projects with emphasis on First Article Inspections; Daily management of complex challenges – production changes and production ramp up supported by full product conformity; Daily communication with internal stakeholders all org levels and regular communication with customers and being able to guarantee the full product conformity to customers.

Essential Responsibilities:

* Drive daily rhythm of FIA project

* Regular weekly reporting and escalation to stakeholders – progress, risks and open actions

* Make sure actions are closed on time every time with full compliance

* Daily management of FAI project team – approx. 8 people directly and approx. additional 8 people indirectly

* Active participation in CCC and PCC – drive aggressive however realistic actions to closure

* Liaise with customer and get customer approvals for FAI

* Host and support all FAI related customer visits including audits

* Support all regulatory and certification agendas related to FAI

Qualifications/Requirements:

* Proven experience in aviation industry

* Detailed knowledge of AS9102

* Proven experience in quality
